I received my special order of Mr. Fedele’s "Stories For A Stormy Night" (both volumes) and "God’s Gift" early this afternoon. Since I picked them up on my way to work I was only able to steal enough time to read about twenty pages of “Stormy Night” vol. 1. There is much to be said for anyone who has enough faith and confidence to persevere against the winds to become a professional author, but what Mr. Fedele manages to do in so few pages is wonderful. Books are like auras, some shine brighter than others. Very little has occurred so early in the story but visualizing the characters and anticipating their misadventures lead me in confidence to say what I have and put my name to it! I actually can’t wait to be through the first book as I have already spoken of it with my mother who teaches at an inner city magnet school in NY. She is very interested in getting her hands on a neat little story her kids will respond to…which is why I told her about it. This is exactly the type of story these kids need to hear!

"Bugs" is a tale about a boy named Mark. Because of his
sloppy habits, his room becomes overrun by bugs. Three of these creatures grow to enormous proportions, rendering them powerful and vicious. When they become a threat to Mark, he must somehow dispose of them and so calls on his friend, Harold, for help.
Will they succeed, or will they serve as a tasty treat for the bugs?
"Runaway" is the story of Billy, whose disenchantment with family life causes him to run away. Unfortunately, his adventures turn into a series of disasters. The first involves the hijacking of the bus on
which he's traveling. The next occurs when all his money is
stolen by a gang of ruffians. And for the final affront, he
is abducted by a pedophile.
Can Billy overcome this last ordeal? Or will he meet a brutal end?
